Jackson County Central  Para Professional Aides

JCC is looking for 3 para-professional individuals as Special Education/Title I aides.  One is for Riverside Elementary in Jackson and 2 are for Pleasantview Elementary in Lakefield.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  According to MN State Law by September 1, 2006, all paraprofessional needs to be “highly qualified”.  To be highly qualified, a paraprofessional needs to fulfill one of the three options.

1.           A 2-year college degree.

2.           At least 2 years of college classes completed.

3.           (For paraprofessional employed by the District before 9/1/06), Passing the PARA-PRO Test.

Confidentiality and patience is a must.  7.25/hrs day.

Substitute Paraprofessionals are needed for the 2010-11 school year for Jackson County Central Schools.  We are in great need of substitutes  paraprofessionals to work with our special need students.  We prefer but not require you to be a highly qualified applicant, having 2-years of college classes or pass the Para Pro Test. Jackson and Lakefield are located on I-90 in SW Minnesota. We are located halfway between Sioux Falls SD and Mankato Minnesota with an active lake recreational area within 20 miles. We are a consolidated school district, with an enrollment figure of approximately 1,200.
