High School Band

The Jackson County Central (JCC) Concert Band meets daily and is made up of 90 members, grades 9-12. Throughout the year the Concert Band performs 4 concerts. Students have the option to be involved in Jazz band, as well as participate in the regional Solo & Ensemble contest. The JCC Concert Band also proudly cheers on and provides pep for the Huskies at various sporting events through pep band. Members also have the opportunity to travel different areas of U.S. every other year.

The hope of the director is that all students that participate in the band program at JCC have fun, learn the importance of teamwork, resiliency, and the power of believing in ones talents, discovers an emotional connection to music, and gain a life-long appreciation for music.
